therapy
who I work with
I offer counselling and psychotherapy to all ages and genders. The links below highlight which therapy might be more useful to you. Please click through to that main page to read more, or if you are ready, you can just send me an enquiry.
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
I work with children from reception through to adulthood. Sessions can be at school, home or at my private practice. Best practice is to discuss family concerns and presentation at school, complete my assessment form and look at holistic support during and after sessions.
PARENTS & FAMILIES
This is a space for caregivers who are unsure how to manage their children’s behaviour and need some therapeutic support as well as practical guidance. You might feel that school are unable to help or you are in no-man’s-land between GP, CAMHS and assessment.
ADULTS
A warm welcome for any theme that may seem trivial or taboo. I hold no judgment and am here to support you through whatever is going on, such as unprocessed trauma, anxiety, grief, boarding school, depression, divorce, identity, purpose, neurodiversity, and sexual health.
SCHOOLS & STAFF
Perhaps your pastoral team needs support with child counselling in school, your staff would benefit from reflecting on their wellbeing and challenging behaviour of students, or there is a sense of overwhelm from parents which you could support through consultations.
how I work
Perhaps you may not know why you’re here, but maybe, instinctively, you know what you’re here for…
It’s ok not to know which step to take. You’re here, and that’s what matters. If you feel unsure, it may help you to find out more about some of the different approaches and specialisms that I work with…
I am a transpersonal integrative psychotherapist. This means I use a range of disciplines and techniques in response to different presentations and people. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space to explore and express yourself in safety. My skills involve global listening, inviting reflection on feelings and patterns of behaviour and encouraging self-awareness and development. Much of this is done through talking as a base layer, but can also involve interventions through creative imagination. This includes things like breathwork, visualisations, bodyscans and drawing. This allows us to work on what is going on for you mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
